朱色に映える春日大社の桜

春日大社の桜が見頃を迎えています。

とも立派なしだれ桜で綺麗です。

千古の森

春日大社は今から約1300年前の768年（奈良時代）に開かれました。
春日大社は千古の森の中に朱の柱、白い壁、そして自然の檜皮屋根の本殿で、とても美しいです。

桜が朱色の建物に映えて華やかです。

世界遺産

春日大社は奈良公園の東大寺、興福寺、元興寺などともに世界遺産に登録されています。

平城京の守護

710年に平城京の守護のために創建されました。
総面積32万坪もの千古の森に広がる境内は歩くほどに奥深さを感じます。
朱塗りの本殿以外にも61もの摂社や末社があります。

5月には藤の花が見頃を迎えます。
