奈良九品寺は奈良県御所市にある彼岸花が美しいお寺です。
九品寺はサンスクリット語で、上品、中品、下品で、人間の品格を表しているそうです。
上品の中にも上中下があり、中品や下品にもそれぞれ上中下があり、全部で九つの品があるので九品と名付けられています。
高台にあり眺めが素晴らしいです。
彼岸花の時期は終わっていましたが、所々咲いているのもありました。
街並みを見下ろすように彼岸花が咲いていて、見頃の時期にはさぞかし素晴らしい眺めだと思いました。。。
まだまだ綺麗な彼岸花も！
今はコスモスが見頃です。
日差しをいっぱい浴びてキラキラ輝いていました。
