世界遺産法起寺とコスモス

斑鳩町では花と緑が町に溢れる「花いっぱい運動」に取り組んでおり、秋になると法起寺の色鮮やかな可憐なコスモスが咲き乱れます。

世界遺産法起寺の三重塔を背景にコスモスを楽しめる秋の斑鳩の里を代表する風景です。

2020年からは近くの中尊寺跡にもコスモス畑ができました。
隣に駐車場も完備されていますのでとても便利です。

広々として本当に綺麗なところです。

夕日に輝くコスモスもとても素敵です。

この日は稲刈りが始まっていて多くの方が黄金に輝く稲とコスモスの姿を撮影されていました。

稲刈りが終わった後にコスモスが植えられます。
いつみても美しいところです。

春の田植えが始まった時期もとても綺麗です。

約2万平方メートルという広い休耕農地でコスモスが植えられていて見ごたえあります。

法起寺は近くの法隆寺とともに「法隆寺地域の仏教建造物」として世界遺産に登録されています。
写真にも映る三重塔は日本最古で706年に創建されました。
高さは23.9mで現存する三重塔としては日本最古です。
