大木が輝く唐招提寺

唐招提寺の紅葉がとても迫力があってとても綺麗でした。

蓮や萩が有名ですが、紅葉も素晴らしかったです。

落ち葉が一面に広がって真っ赤でした。

金堂（国宝・奈良時代）

南大門をくぐった正面に荘厳な姿を見せる金堂は奈良時代の創建当時のままの姿を残しており、代表的な建築物です。

唐招提寺は鑑真ゆかりのお寺です。

「招堤」とはサンスクリット由来の中国語で「広い」「四方」という意味で仏教寺院を指す一般名詞として使われていました。
唐招提寺は「唐から招いた鑑真和上のための寺」という意味です。

講堂（国宝　奈良時代）

760年ごろに平城宮の東朝集殿（ひがしちょうしゅうでん）を移築・改造したもので、開放的な空間です。

現在の姿は鎌倉時代の改造によるところが大きく、元は壁や建具がない開放的な作りでしたが、移築後に屋根を改造し、建具を入れたそうです。
奈良時代の宮廷建築の唯一の遺構としてとても貴重です。
