世界遺産法起寺の周りの休耕田のコスモスの花が植えられ、見頃を迎えています。
とても華やかで可愛い姿が人気で多くの方が訪れています。
一面のコスモス。
とてものどかで美しい風景です。
法起寺は708年に建立され聖徳太子建立七寺」のひとつです。
世界遺産にも登録されている法起寺の三重塔を背景にコスモスを楽しめる秋の斑鳩を代表する風景です。
聖徳太子もこののどかな里山を愛したのでしょうね。
コスモスの見頃は10月中旬ごろです。
斑鳩町では花と緑が町に溢れる「花いっぱい運動」に取り組んでおり、約2万平方メートルの休耕田に植えられているコスモスは見応えがあります。
三重塔は現存する三重塔としては日本最古で706年に創建されました。
