春日大社の砂ずりの藤が今年も見ごろを迎えました。

深い紫が美しく、朱色に映えて人々の目を楽しませてくれます。

春日大社の神紋は「下がり藤」で、青葉美しい5月に見ごろを迎えます。

千古の森

千古の森

春日大社は今から約1300年前の768年（奈良時代）に開かれました。
春日大社は千古の森の中に朱の柱、白い壁、そして自然の檜皮屋根の本殿です。

境内の山々に藤の木が自生し、とても大きく育って見事です。

萬葉植物園

近くには萬葉植物園があり、歴史ある萬葉植物の八割以上が大切に育てられています。
植物は万葉集に読まれている名前と現在の名前の両方で表示されていて面白いです。
