黒川紀章設計の美術館

黒川紀章は1934年生まれの建築家で政治活動や実業家、思想家としても活躍し、1986年に建築界のノーベル賞とも言われるフランス建築アカデミーのゴールドメダルを受賞しました。

国立新美術館は2007年に開館しました。

日本で5館目の国立美術館で来館者数は日本第1位です。

国立美術館の中で唯一コレクションを持たず、広い展示スペースを貸し出ししています。

「新」の文字をイメージした赤いシンボルマークはアートディレクターの佐藤可士和がデザインしました。

上の写真が有名で一度見て見たかったのですが、ビルの外観もとても個性的で日が当たると玉虫色に輝いていました。

とても大きな建物です。

宇宙みたいです。

一面窓ガラスですので明るくてとても広い空間でした。

曲線で構成されています。

レストランやカフェ、ミュージアムショップがあります。
