奈良県外精華大通りのメタセコイヤ並木が黄葉から紅葉に変わり、美しい姿を見せています。
黄葉もとても綺麗でしたが、紅葉もまた一段と美しく華やかです。
これは12日前に撮影したものです。
このころは黄色に少し赤が混じる程度でした。
こちらもとても綺麗でした。
着実に季節は冬に向かっていますね。
メタセコイヤはヒノキ科（またはスギ科）の針葉樹です。
生長すると高さ25-30m、直径1.5mになります。
秋に赤茶色に紅葉し落葉します。
秋から冬にかけて無数の種が地面に落ちます。
もうすぐ落葉してしまうなんてちょっと残念です。
